I built Beyond Vision on a stubborn belief that off-the-shelf solutions are never quite good enough. Technology should serve a purpose, whether it is under enormous pressure in the arena or down in the engine room of a cloud server. Below you can dig into how I think about code, broadcast and where all of this is going.
Thoughts, technology and where it is heading
// The philosophy Why build everything from scratch?
Because there is never a system that fits 100% of what you actually need. Off-the-shelf is a compromise. At Beyond Vision everything is custom made. What the customer wants always comes first, and our software is built to exactly their needs — because when I can build it myself, it comes out right.
// The foundation Gymnastics and volunteering
I have done gymnastics all my life, and I have been part of the volunteer engine room for as long as I can remember. That knowledge is an enormous advantage in this work. Because I know the gymnastics world from the inside, I have an instinct for what works in the halls, and which digital tools genuinely create value for the volunteers.
// Workflow Planning versus delivery
The difference between the two phases is huge. In planning I find it easier to hold the whole picture in my head, because you can move a little more slowly. But make no mistake — I love the stress of the delivery itself. That is exactly why you will find me just as invested in planning the show as I am when the lamps go red.
// First job From passion to invoice
My first paid job was Sorø Skills Challenges 2026. It did not start as a paid gig at all — just me turning up with some ideas and being allowed to bring them to life through OSIS Competition Suite. When the event was over, I walked into my boss's office and asked what he would pay for it. That is the moment it became a business.
// Fabrication 3D printing
Just as with the software, I found it hard to source hardware, mounts and gear that fitted my setups perfectly. So the answer turned out to be the same: I build and print it myself.
// Project OSIS How the ecosystem came about
From an idea to LiveSync
OSIS started in November while I was working at Sorø Gymnastikefterskole. The school recorded its displays with Switcher, so I coded a simple overlay driven from a Stream Deck. It grew very quickly into a huge system — OSIS LiveSync — for Sorø Opvisningsdage. It worked perfectly, and from there it grew explosively.
OSIS Camp Suite
The idea came when Christoffer Færch, who runs the camp, asked for a camp app. That set things in motion, and a long, intense development stretch later I had two complete native apps and an advanced admin panel.
White-labelling and architecture
Building 11 web applications into one system takes structure. I started by building a rock-solid core, then hung the extra modules straight off the OSIS database. Everything supports white-labelling, so each individual school or club can run the system in exactly the colours and design that match their brand.
NFC logistics
Our NFC system saves schools hundreds of hours. Teachers used to check phone lists by hand, and students could easily hand in a dummy phone. Now we just put an NFC sticker on the phone, add it to the system, and the school is ready to go with very fast scanning.

Since April 2025 I have worked as Lead Screen Producer at AIRTOX FACEOFF. My job is to set up and prepare their rack (OBS, ATEM and so on) and to prepare the athletes and the run of show. During the show itself we control everything that goes up on the big screens. Alongside that I am also a regular camera 2 operator, right in the middle of the action.
// In the control room The most stressful moment
During Sorø Skills Challenges we needed to work out who had made the final. I opened the stats page and hit "reset" by mistake. Everything vanished. No athletes, no points, nothing. But because I had coded the system myself, I had thought about the worst case. I pulled the automatic backup down quickly, and we found our finalists.

Whether I am building OSIS Competition Suite with LiveSync as the template, or designing complex hardware racks, the goal is always the same: to make something that does not just look good, but actually works flawlessly in the real world.
