Sorø Gymnastikefterskole

This is where it all started. The first overlay for a gymnastics display was driven from a Stream Deck at the side of the hall — and grew into OSIS LiveSync and the rest of the platform. Since then it has become five projects: big screens and overlays, real-time judging, camp logistics — and a programmed lighting show for three of the displays. Four more are booked for the coming season.

How it went

Five projects in under a year

Every project brought a new requirement, and every requirement became a module. That is why OSIS holds together today: the parts were built in a sports hall, while they were being used.

  1. 2025

    The first overlay

    A hand-coded graphics overlay for the school's displays, driven from a Stream Deck beside the floor. It later became OSIS LiveSync.

  2. 28 November 2025

    On The Move

    The first event run with LiveSync as a finished system. Five teams through the big screen, with an announcer panel and live team changes. We also programmed and ran the lighting for the display.

  3. 20 February 2026

    Sorø Opvisningsaften

    OSIS LiveSync on the big screen, a lighting show we had programmed ourselves, and the whole evening recorded on video. The first time the screen, the lighting and the cameras were all ours on the same job.

  4. 31 March 2026

    Sorø Opvisningsdage

    Around 30 teams through LiveSync in a single day. The big screen in the hall, the information screen in the foyer and the announcer's iPad all ran the same programme — one click moved them all. The lighting was ours too, programmed in advance and run live.

  5. 7 May 2026

    Sorø Skills Challenges

    Around 100 competitors through OSIS Competition Suite. The judges scored on their own devices, the points were totalled automatically, and the leaderboard was up on the big screen while the competition ran — not three hours afterwards.

  6. 31 July 2026

    Camp Sorø

    Around 179 participants through OSIS Camp Suite. Records, the week's schedule, the menu and all communication in one place — plus the digital lights-out round, where the instructor ticks off each room and sends it straight to the office.

Beyond the systems

The lighting in the hall is ours too

For three of the displays we did not just supply the screen — we programmed the lighting show and ran it live from the side of the floor, in time with the teams on the floor and the graphics on the big screen.

It is the same advantage as with the screens: when the lighting, the big screen and the running order are driven by the same people, nobody has to shout across the hall to hit a cue.

  • Programmed, not improvised. The show is built before the display, so the cues land on the beat every time — even when the running order slips.
  • Video recording. The display recorded, so the teams have something to watch afterwards.

  • Big screen and information screen on one running order. The organiser controls it from a single place. The hall, the foyer and the announcer follow in the same second.
  • Real-time judging. A judging panel across several devices, automatic scoring, tie-breakers and a leaderboard that is finished the moment the last competitor is.
  • Camp logistics without spreadsheets. Participants are imported once and then appear in the schedule, on the screen and in the lights-out round.
  • A digital lights-out round. Corridor by corridor, room by room, sent straight to the office. No slips of paper to collect afterwards.
  • NFC access. Wristbands and cards for access and equipment, with a log that writes itself.
  • Lighting and video. A programmed lighting show run live, and a recording of the display.

What was built

Systems that had to hold up in front of an audience

A gymnastics display cannot wait for someone to restart a computer. Everything below is built to run a full day unattended — and to be operated by volunteers who have never seen the system before.

We are booked for the whole of next season

Four events are already in the calendar. That is the best recommendation a case can carry: the customer books again before the previous season has cooled off.
